Hey everyone, I just got the keys to my new place in Burgas and need to furnish and equip it pretty much from scratch. I know about the big chains like Jysk and Praktiker, but I'm wondering if there are any local furniture stores or hidden gems with better quality or prices. Also, where is the best place to pick up reliable kitchen appliances without breaking the bank? Any recommendations or advice on delivery and assembly services would be super helpful too!

Congrats on the new place! If you want decent furniture without spending a fortune, check out Aiko in the Izgrev district.

Aiko is great, but don't sleep on Masterhaus either. They have a surprisingly good selection of household goods and appliances.

For appliances, Technopolis near the Mall Burgas is usually my go-to, especially during their weekend promo sales.

I second Technopolis, but make sure to check Technomarket as well since they often price-match and sometimes have better delivery terms.

If you are looking for solid wood furniture and don't mind paying a bit extra for quality that lasts, try visiting some of the smaller local workshops on the way to Krasimirovo.

That's a solid tip about the local workshops. Do they usually handle the transport and assembly too?

Most of the big chains offer delivery and assembly, but be prepared to wait a few days for the assembly crew to show up.

Yeah, Jysk delivery was fast for me, but the assembly service costs extra and you have to book it separately when buying.

Try browsing Bazar.bg or Facebook Marketplace for Burgas too. A lot of expats leaving the city sell barely used stuff for cheap.

Good luck with the setup! Moving in from scratch is stressful, but Burgas is a lovely city to live in.
