Quick trip to buy property: how to schedule viewings efficiently?

Hey everyone, I've got a whirlwind trip planned next month where I'm flying in for just 3 days to find and put an offer on a property. Since my time on the ground is super limited, I really need to make every single hour count without burning myself out. How do you suggest organizing viewings with local agents so I can see as many places as possible? Any tips on routing or vetting properties beforehand would be hugely appreciated!

Three days is extremely tight, honestly. I'd recommend narrowing down your target neighborhoods before you even book your flights.

Totally agree with the first point. Don't waste precious time driving across the entire city for properties that might not even fit your criteria.

Ask the agents to do live video walk-throughs *before* you arrive. That way you can cross off the ones that look completely different in person.

Make sure you have your pre-approval letter ready to send to agents immediately. Otherwise, some of the best agents won't take a 3-day trip seriously.

Spot on about the pre-approval. Also, try to stick to just one or two buyer's agents instead of juggling five different ones.

Use Google Maps to map out your viewings geographically. Cluster them by neighborhood so you aren't zig-zagging back and forth all day.

I tried doing 10 viewings in one day once and my brain was completely fried by the afternoon. Pace yourself, seriously.

Pack comfortable shoes and plenty of snacks. You won't have time for a sit-down lunch when you're on a tight schedule like that.

Block out buffer time between appointments. Traffic and chatting with agents always runs longer than expected.

Adding to the buffer time tip: agents love to chat, so you have to be firm about when you need to leave for the next showing.
